WHO WE ARE

EMS Peer Support & Wellness Solutions (EMSPSWS) was created through a partnership with over 75 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The Board of Directors has first hand experience in building an effective and sustainable Peer Support program within EMS; witnessing the immense impact it can have on an organization health. We believe that First Reonder organizations benefit by providing both proactive support, with employee recognition and wellness initiatives; and reactive support with Peer Support programs. 

When Peer Support programs have the financial support to develop, innovate and create sustainable wellness programs this directly impacts an organizations overall health, employee satisfaction and productivity. We support peer and wellness programs which foster individual’s physical and psychological well-being and promote community connection for our EMS practitioners. This group includes our paramedics on the front lines and our Emergency Communication Officers (ECO) behind the scenes in collaboration with our allied first responder groups.

Our goal is to support peer programs province wide that are already doing the good work through volunteerism with a chance to ignite their efforts and facilitate meaningful impact in those they serve.
